The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), announced the adoption of a policy whereby candidates of universities with surplus applicants for the Unified Matriculation Examinations (UTME) are reassigned to other universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities.
For instance,If you scored 180 and above in the last UTME and you are not considered to attempt the post UTME screening exercise of your institution of choice, simply follow the procedure outlines below to check where you have been re-assigned to by JAMB.
How to Check Where you have been Posted for Admission by JAMB 2016
1. Go to JAMB transferred candidates portal by clicking here;
2. Enter your JAMB registration number where required;
3. Finally, click on ‘Check Where you Have Been Posted for Admission’ to access your status.
