JAMB UTME 2016 Cut Off Marks for Nigeria Institutions

    Today, the 14 of March, 2016 marks the last day of JAMB 2016 Examination, we want to say a big congratulation to all those that have seen their UTME Result. Be it low and high but atleast say a BIG Thank You to Your God!

So today, we want to officially announce to the general public and the candidate who sat for the JAMB 2016 exams that the 2016/2017 Cut off mark has been released Online!

To qualify for a school’s post utme(aptitude test), You have to score up to the cutoff mark stated below for you particular university of choice. For schools with two cut off marks: the required score depends on the department one is applying for.

However, these cut-off marks are subject to change once the different institutions release their Post UTME procedures. Below is the official JAMB 2016 Cut off Mark.

JAMB SETS 2015 CUT–OFF MARKS

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) at the 2015 Policy Committee meeting with all heads of tertiary education and other stakeholders agreed on the 2015 cut-off marks for Degree and non Degree awarding programmes. The meeting adopted the last year cut-off marks of 180 for Universities and 150 for Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Innovative Enterprises Institutions for 2015/2016 admissions exercise |

Meanwhile, candidates are advised to get their original JAMB result slips (The one that bears your passport photograph). This document is the only official UTME result recognized during admission processing.

But you know how it is. Some universities still go ahead and set a different bench mark for poor applicants. Use the list above to check that which your school has decided on.
